Carter’s famous sausage roll was mentioned this weekend (7/4/2013) in the Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine. In her column ‘The Kitchen Thinker” Bee Wilson wrote “The finest bought sausage rolls I’ve ever had came from R Carter & Son in Bamburgh – richly meaty with a flaky, egg washed crust. Once tried, you’ll never be tempted by a flaccid garage one again.”
